              1. 🧵 Following recent events surrounding Twitter, I am preparing a "Plan B" of sorts in case this bird site shuts down. I really hope this scenario won't materialize because Twitter was like a home to me for the last over 5 years but... we have to be prepared. Read ⤵️

              First off, two weeks ago I created an account on Mastodon (@lynxmic@mastodon.social). Currently, it serves as a crossposter of my tweets to the platform but if Twitter closes then I may start being more active there, so if you're on the fedi I recommend giving a follow there.

            As for YT updates, well... community posts should be unlocked for all my three channels in the next few days/weeks/idk because last night they all entered the A/B test where features are broken into standard, intermediate and advanced tiers:

          This is an important step because for some reason community posts are an ""advanced"" feature for channels <500 subs. Nevertheless, should they be unlocked, there'll be no need to use another platform for channel updates or clutter my channel with "update videos" anymore.

        Last but not least, you can still find me in some other places @ linktr.ee/lynxmic. Addendum, you may find me on Discord @ Lynxmic#1330 (as well as on my server which I still operate despite being inactive 99% of the time and me not even caring of it - Axeon).

      To conclude this thread, guaranteed I'll still be around on Twitter for the foreseeable future like until now. Will go back to this thread and update as soon as the community tab is unlocked for (at least) my main channel.

    Just checked in and my OLD channel *already* has community posts enabled. Still, I'll let y'all know when it'll be my main channel's turn to have them unlocked. Fact: My old channel was also the first of the channels I own to get access to handles, so why would I be surprised?
