  1. Back to this mini-thread, just almost a month later, YT announced that they had been indeed rolling out mentions to 100% of channels. So this was intentional. Just that they've been mostly quiet about it this time. @Lynxmic/1525587634147536898

      I even mentioned my main channel from my second channel (last video uploaded) and that worked. Better late than never, right? Mentions should've been rolled out to 100% of channels from the start, I always found sub requirements for such a feature to be absurd.

        More absurd than in the case of other features under a subscriber requirement. The only thing I can think of with such requirement that I find this absurd are custom URLs, with their 100 subscriber requirement. Something so basic that small channels can't access. Whatever.
