  1. Installing Windows 11 RTM in VMware and first impressions: Thread First and foremost: in the leaked Build 21996, both the new and old logos (from first to last) were present. Surprising to see that it was kept this way in a RTM build.

      At least enabling Dark Mode in Windows 11 is possible regardless of activation status.... somehow, unlike in 10.

        Still won't understand what's the point of locking desktop wallpaper settings for Windows that isn't activated, in the Settings app (like with 8.1 and 10), if you can just search your PC for a picture and set it as wallpaper through File Explorer.

          Before ending my look at the new Windows version for today, I, out of curiosity, decided to boot to Recovery. As expected (just like with installer), not many differences. What was changed? Unsurprisingly nothing, still the same UI from 8.x (Metro).
